Amanda Serrano will make “The Last Walk” in early 2027.
“The Real Deal” (50-4-1, 32 KOs) will defend her unified featherweight world titles against No. 4-ranked WBA contender Skye Falzon (12-2, 7 KOs) on Sat., Jan. 9, 2027, at Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, live on DAZN. Their bout will be contested under equal rules to male world champions with 12, three-minute rounds.
“The Last Walk” kickoff press conference takes place Nov. 3 in San Juan.
“Boxing has been my life, and I never could have imagined the journey it would take me and my family on,” Serrano said. “From the early days when women’s boxing was fighting for recognition in small theater shows, to headlining Madison Square Garden in New York, reaching millions of fans around the world on the biggest shows, and helping open doors for the next generation of female fighters, [my trainer] and I always believed and I’m proud of everything we’ve accomplished. But none of it happened alone. Nakisa, Jake and MVP believed in me and in women’s boxing, and together we’ve helped change what’s possible for women in this sport.”
Tickets go on sale on Nov. 3.
Serrano is coming off three straight wins, including her majority decision victory over Lucrecia Anabella Manzur last August in Temecula. Falzon, who is the same age as Serrano at 38, has captured 11 in a row, recently taking a unanimous decision win over Monika Singh last month in her native Australia.
Further information, including the co-main event and additional bouts, will be announced in the coming weeks.
