‘Kise sikhayega catch pakadna!’ – Hassan Ali’s heated chat with a fan mocking his fielding goes viral

Australia continued their dominance over Pakistan on their home soil as they whitewashed them in the recent three-match Test series. The Pat Cummins-led side beat the visitors by eight wickets in the third and final Test on January 06 at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney. The last day of the game was a momentous occasion as people had come in large numbers to witness Australian opener David Warner don the whites for the final time in his career.

Notably, to witness the retiring speech of the veteran Australian cricketer, the entire crowd was allowed on the playfield as the post-match presentation began. After the presentation ended, the fans stayed back to take autographs of their favourite players. However, scenes turned ugly as Pakistan fast bowler Hassan Ali hit back at a fan who was mocking his catching skills.

In a viral video, a fan can be heard saying, “aao catch pakadna sikhau (come I will teach you how to catch the ball).” In reply, a furious Hassan is seen charging towards the crowd saying, “Haan bhai kise sikhayegi catch pakadna (Yeah, tell me whom do you wanna teach catching).”

Notably, Hassan Ali famously dropped Matthew Wade in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2021 which costed his side dearly as he ended up hitting three consecutive sixes to win the game for Australia. He also didn’t have a great outing in the  recent Test series picking just two wickets from four innings at an average of 91 and an economy of 2.76. The Pakistan bowling attack was let down by poor fielding as their fielders dropped several important catches which turned the game on its head.

Aamer Jamal had a memorable series in Australia

The 27-year-old Aamer Jamal was the star of the series for Pakistan who finished as the second-highest wicket-taker in his debut series scalping 18 wickets in six innings at an average of 20.44 with three five-wicket hauls to his name. He also scored third-most runs in the series for Pakistan amassing 143 runs from six innings at an average of 28.60 including a brilliant 82 in the first innings of the last Test.

Meanwhile, Pakistan got the ignominy of losing 17 matches on the trot in Australia. Notably, the Asian team last won a Test down under in 1995 and have drawn three series in the country.
