Two UFC Vegas 84 Fighters Transported To ‘Sin City’ Hospital

Hawes (12-6) was transported for a precautionary CT scan of his head and face. He was helped out of the octagon following his knockout loss and then sent directly to the hospital.

The 35-year-old Middleweight has been knocked out in the first round of his last three fights and has lost four out of his last five.

Semelsberger (11-7) was also transported for a precautionary CT scan of his head and face after his fight with Parsons.

“Semi The Jedi” is now on the first three-fight skid of his career, losing to Parsons, Uros Medic, and Jeremiah Wells.

It is not a rare occurrence for UFC to transport fighters to the hospital for precautionary reasons, especially if the fighters are in a three-round battle full of damage or, in this case, a five-round war.
