In a high-stakes encounter in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) chased down 206 runs with ease, defeating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by six wickets. With this loss, LSG have been eliminated from the playoffs race.

Ishan Kishan played a solid hand with a 35-run knock, and Heinrich Klaasen’s 47 off 28 ensured the momentum stayed with the visitors. Kamindu Mendis retired hurt after a brisk 32, but Aniket Verma and Nitish Reddy wrapped up the chase in 18.2 overs with ease.
Among LSG bowlers, Digvesh Rathi impressed with two wickets, while Shardul Thakur and William O’Rourke picked up one each. However, the LSG bowlers largely failed to contain the flow of runs.
