Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will stage its early and official weigh ins at 9 a.m. local time for this weekend’s UFC Qatar mixed martial arts (MMA) event on ESPN+. Unfortunately for stateside fight fans, Qatar is eight hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time, so most of us will be asleep by the time the first fighter hits the scale at 1 a.m. ET.
No worries, we got some West Coast homies to get the job done.
UFC Qatar will be headlined by the 155-pound showdown between ranked lightweight contenders Arman Tsarukyan and Dan Hooker, a five-round slugfest that follows the welterweight co-main event pitting former 170-pound champion Belal Muhammad against No. 6-ranked contender Ian Machado Garry.
