Alex Pereira is still lobbying for a fight against UFC legend Jon Jones as “Poatan” called out “Bones” once again during a recent visit to his old tire shop in Brazil.
Maybe the allure of the UFC’s upcoming White House card will be enough to finally align the stars and make this dream fight a reality.
Despite the obstacles ahead, Pereira and Jones are both still very interested in a fight, which comes out of mutual respect for one another and the sport. Jones may be busy filming reality shows and playing coach, but “Bones” would no doubt jump right back into camp for a chance to fight Pereira and earn the promotion’s trust back.
Pereira, who has been busy traveling like he normally does in between fights, made his way back to Brazil this past week and visited his old tire shop that he used to work at. Pereira hung out with the fellas and snapped some photos outside, but one video revealed a tire in the shop with the words “Next Jones” written on it.
While this doesn’t mean much as far as a fight between Pereira and Jones actually getting booked it’s still good to know “Poatan” is solely focused on fighting “Bones.” Check out Pereira’s visit below and let us know what you think!
