I’ll offer two Heavyweight thoughts. Generally, I think Big Nog is the greater fighter than Frank Mir and should have won those matches more often than not. Similarly, Daniel Cormier won a lot more of his matches versus Stipe than not despite losing two out of three. He was looking real old by the end too.
Matt Hughes vs. Dennis Hallman is a famous old example also.
