Here’s your open thread for Sunday!
The aki basho (autumn tournament) kicked off on Sunday! Here’s my favorite bout from day one. It’s Ura aka ‘The Peach Prince’ versus ‘The Lion’ Shishi.
And here’s a second one! This is from the juryo (second division) with newcomer Tokifudo vs. Tochitaikai (who looks like the Predator).
Tell me some of your favorite character actors. I really like Brad Dourif. He did an X-Files episode that still sits with me. I also love him in Deadwood and, of course, Lord of the Rings.
Also want to highlight Michael Jeter, who we lost too soon.
