The Brazilian captured the 205-pound title by stopping Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295 last November in New York, then defended the strap with a knockout victory over Jamahal Hill at UFC 300. Prochazka tried to reclaim the crown at UFC 303 in Las Vegas and once again, was put out to pasture by “Poatan.”
