Chakravarthy replaces Jaiswal in a surprise move
Mystery spinner, Varun Chakravarthy, who also made his ODI debut in the ongoing series against England, replaced Yashasvi Jaiswal as a last-minute inclusion to the unit. The former impressed in the recently concluded T20I series, ending up with 14 scalps in five games.
Jaiswal has been named as one of the non-travelling substitutes in addition to Shivam Dube and Mohammed Siraj. The three players will make their way to the United Arab Emirates if they are required India will kickstart their Champions Trophy campaign on February 20 with their first Group A clash scheduled to be against Bangladesh.
