Estevao won the battle of the Champions League wonderkids on Tuesday night as Chelsea thrashed Barcelona 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian 18-year-old, who is just 80 days younger than Ballon d’Or runner-up Lamine Yamal, was given a standing ovation when he was substituted off in the 82nd minute after a dazzling display.
Yamal had left the field to sarcastic cheers two minutes earlier, having endured a frustrating evening in west London.
Barcelona were thoroughly outplayed by the team currently ranked second in the Premier League. The Blues had already had two goals disallowed by the time a freakish Jules Kounde own goal gave them a deserved lead in the 27th minute.
Barcelona were reduced to 10 men on the stroke of half-time after captain Ronald Araujo was sent off for two quick-fire bookable offences.
Chelsea had dominated against 11 men and continued to boss proceedings against 10.

The moment of the match came 10 minutes after half-time when Estevao scored the fifth goal of his Chelsea career by smashing a shot into the roof of Joan Garcia’s net after dancing past Pau Cubarsi and Alejandro Balde.
Substitute Liam Delap later wrapped up Chelsea’s biggest ever win over Barcelona.

Chelsea fans troll Lamine Yamal
Tuesday’s game was billed as a showdown between world football’s two most exciting teenagers and Chelsea fans made sure they got behind their man.
Lamine Yamal was trolled with multiple verses of “You’re just a s*** Estevao”. It was first belted out in the first half after Yamal’s only shot of the game had been easily saved by Robert Sanchez.
But the chant hit much harder after Estevao’s superb solo strike on 55 minutes.
It was not only Chelsea fans inside Stamford Bridge who were giving Yamal stick on Tuesday night.
Estevao better than Lamine Yamal, fans claim
Social media was full of bold statements about the two teenagers.
“Estevao makes Lamine Yamal look so ordinary,” tweeted one Blues supporter in reaction to a clip of his goal.
Another wrote: “Estevao is wayyy better than Yamal!!”
A third Chelsea supporter appeared to make a major U-turn, declaring: “I’m sorry that I rated Yamal over Estevao because he has played in Europe and top competitions more than Estevao. Estevao is way, way better than Yamal.”
Meanwhile, a shocked Manchester United fan added: “I never knew Estevao was better than Yamal until today.”

What Estevao said after helping Chelsea beat Barcelona
It feels only fitting to let Estevao have the last word after his fantastic display.
Speaking to Amazon Prime Sports via a translator after Tuesday’s game, Estevao said: “I don’t really have any words to sum up how I’m feeling right now. It really was the perfect night. I’m just grateful to God for everything that has happened for me. Onwards and upwards from here.”
On his goal, he added: “It all happened very quickly for me, it sort of happened before I knew it. I just found some space, wiggled my way through and then scored that goal. It was such a special moment for me in my career. I hope to score many more.
“It was definitely the best moment of my career so far. I want to score many more for many years.”
At the end of the interview, Estevao was asked about his connection with the Chelsea supporters. He replied: “From the moment I arrived here, I felt such a connection with the fans. I’m just so happy that I could score for them and make them happy. I hope to keep making them happy and score more goals for them.”
