Everyone is convinced that Ilia Topuria will make his first lightweight title defense against Paddy Pimblett.
“As of right now, no, we haven’t made that fight. We’re trying to figure out what’s next for Topuria,” White told TNT Fight Sports. “We’re always exploring lots of different things. Listen, obviously it’s a fun fight, people would like to see that, but I don’t know.”
“You want me to make, like, 10 fights right here while we’re doing this right here, right now?” White added. “Everything is possible. Everything is possible, but no, we haven’t made any of these fights yet.”
That said, a potential headliner for UFC Spain is unquestionably a “no brainer.”
