Leeds United have secured the signing of highly-rated Serbian youth international Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher from Manchester United.
The Leeds-born 17-year-old was announced as a new arrival at Elland Road on Thursday.
Ibrovic-Fletcher returns to his home city after coming through the academy at United.
A hugely talented youngster, he has represented Serbia up to under-19 level.
His contract with Leeds will see him at the club until 2028.
There is no expectation that Ibrovic-Fletcher will be near the first team to begin with, but his addition is some coup for Leeds.
Leeds’ injury problems have stretched their squad thin, but Daniel Farke’s side remain six points clear of the relegation zone.
It’s been a tough season for the Yorkshire outfit, but they have put themselves in a great position to stay up.
Leeds were interested in Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen, but missed out as the Norwegian joined Crystal Palace.
After a difficult window saw them struggle for signings, bringing in the next generation remains an important area of the club’s transfer strategy.
Leeds Sign Manchester United Youngster Ibrovic-Fletcher
Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher debuted for Serbia under-19s last season.
He had previously represented them at under-16s and under-17s, and is tipped to be a future star.
Able to play across the front line, Ibrovic-Fletcher is a versatile attacker with bags of talent.

Last year, he signed scholarship terms with Manchester United, joining from Sheffield United.
He has featured for Man United in the under-18 Premier League under Darren Fletcher.
But his move to Leeds will see him join up with the Scott Gardner’s under-21 side.
A Leeds spokesperson said: “Everyone at Leeds United would like to welcome Edward to the club and we look forward to seeing his development at Thorp Arch, where he will link up with Scott Gardner’s U21s.”
Leeds Can Take A Huge Step Towards Safety This Weekend
On Friday night, Leeds host fellow relegation battlers Nottingham Forest.
With both sides level on points and goal difference, the pair are separated only thanks to Leeds having scored more goals.
Both teams sit on 26 points, six above 18th-placed West Ham in the drop zone.

The Hammers face Burnley on Saturday, and will be targeting a win at Turf Moor.
If West Ham win against the Clarets, they will put huge pressure on those above them.
A draw for Leeds or Forest helps neither side, but a loss would be catastrophic if the Irons get a result.
But if Leeds can find a way to win, they will put daylight between themselves and Forest, and could extend their lead over West Ham.
This weekend will see two true relegation six-pointers, with defeat plunging the losers into serious trouble.
