Following a group stage that saw draws after draws, the ESL One Birmingham 2024 finally draws to a close. The tournament was full of confusing outcomes and teams seemed to perform similarly in war for a spot in the playoffs.
However, beneath all the rubble, the final eight teams were decided and have emerged to move on to the playoffs.
Two big teams, Gaimin Gladiators and Team Spirit were unable to secure the necessary points and exited the tournament while Xtreme Gaming and Team Falcons were also facing the risk of elimination, but managed to turn their luck around on the final day of the group stage.
Falcons managed to win Talon with a clean sweep and trade the elimination position, while, Tundra, HEROIC, Xtreme Gaming, and Team Spirit squared off in a four-way tie – Team Spirit was unable to any of the games against the other three teams took a decisive elimination from the tournament.

The ESL One Birmingham 2024 playoffs’ final eight teams have now been confirmed, emerging from the rigorous three-day group stages, the playoffs will also be played in three days.
The tournament boasting a $1 Million USD prize pool and 26,400 EPT points is one of the most important events for Dota 2 teams as the teams fight fiercely for the lion’s share of the EPT points more than the prize pool.
