“Hyencha saghyaanchi iccha aahe ki tumhi aazun ek World Cup aapla deshasaathi gheun yaava, yevdach itka mi saangto aani thaamto. Dhanyawaad (it is the immense want of the public gathered here that you win another World Cup for the country, this is all I have to say and will stop now. Thank you!)!,” stated the person.
“Dhanyawaad (thank you!)!,” exclaimed Rohit, who bowed in appreciation towards the passionate swarm of people.

While Rohit has already retired from the shortest format with the next ODI World still quite a while away, Rohit’s main focus as of now would be to first reach the World Test Championship final, and then aim to win the third cycle, scheduled to commence in June 2025.
