The third of four major IBJJF gi events in 2026 happens at the Ginásio Poliesportivo José Correa in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The 2026 IBJJF Brasileiros, or Brazilian Nationals, starts Friday (Apr. 24, 2025) and will go on for a whopping 10 days up to May 3, 2025.
The gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) event will stream LIVE on FloGrappling, starting at 8:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, and will continue until the event concludes over a week later on Sunday. A free live stream of the earlier matches will possibly be on YouTube, which will be embedded below once it’s available.
Three BJJ stars will continue their goals of trying to win all four major events for a potential Grand Slam title, with Diego Pato, Tainan Dalpra and Gabi Pessanha all competing at the 2026 IBJJF Brasileiros. Sarah Galvao could also continue her brewing rivalry with Pessanha at the absolute division, as despite being almost 100 lbs apart, the pair went 1-1, including the monumental upset at the IBJJF Pans.
Also joining the event are BJJ champs like Mayssa Bastos, Erich Munis, Fellipe Andrew, and Andy Murasaki, along with teen prodigies Ashlee Funegra and Mia Funegra,
