Max Holloway’s rematch with Conor McGregor is just one week away, but “Blessed” is already splurging some of his “Red Panty Night” money.
Next weekend’s clash with McGregor will undoubtedly be the most high-profile bout of Holloway’s career. That’s saying something considering Holloway has posted multiple UFC title fight victories and owns one of the greatest knockouts ever when he starched Justin Gaethje at UFC 300. It’s really a testament to the McGregor Effect and what a fight with “Notorious” entails.
While Holloway has already experienced the bright lights of a bout with McGregor that came all the way back in 2013. Things have vastly changed since then and with McGregor making his first walk to the Octagon in five years next weekend the stakes are even higher. Holloway is certainly the type of fighter to rise to the occasion, but it’s still a big ask.
Luckily for Holloway, he’ll be heavily compensated for his main event rematch with McGregor at UFC 329. There’s no pay-per-view points involved, but “Blessed” should walk away with the biggest payday of his career. In fact, Holloway is already spending some of his hard-earned money as the former UFC featherweight and BMF champion just purchased a custom Dodge Charger and had it delivered to his house.
“Holy s—t. Kind of a big deal. I thought someone was just gonna be driving it.”
