As a captain, MS Dhoni has achieved feats that most cricketers could only dream of. Speaking of his T20 captaincy career, the right-handed batter began his leadership journey in the IPL in 2008. Since then, he has consistently led his team into the play-offs and, more often than not, won titles. As captain, Dhoni has guided CSK to 12 play-offs, 10 IPL finals, and five IPL titles. He has also won two Champions League titles.
The IPL finals in 2010, 2018, and 2023 hold a special place in MS Dhoni’s heart. These were three particularly dramatic seasons for the captain. In 2010, his leadership was questioned after CSK lost five of their first seven games.
