Brock Lesnar is banned from WWE.
The former UFC heavyweight champion was pulled from the 2024 Royal Rumble and scrubbed from future storylines after being named in the trafficking lawsuit brought against former WWE CEO Vince McMahon. That said, the 48 year-old NCAA Division-1 national champion out of Minnesota remains listed on the promotion’s website with celebratory praise like “Glory to The Conqueror” with acknowledgment that Lesnar “forced his way to the top.”
Probably not the best choice of words considering his current legal “trouble.”
Wrestling Observer Radio (transcribed by Wrestling Inc.). “I don’t know if there’s anything … I mean, people have been talking about it. But this has been the same thing since the Janel Grant lawsuit has been filed, as far as I know.”
Grant’s lawsuit remains active with a new development surfacing against McMahon.
“It’s up to the lawyers,” Meltzer continued. “If the lawyers say it’s okay, they’ll bring him in tomorrow. But obviously, their belief is he shouldn’t be on their TV — It’s been that way for a year and a half. I mean, he was on the banned list from when they took him out of the Royal Rumble. Last year’s Royal Rumble, not this year’s [show].”
Lesnar is a 10-time WWE champion (split across two titles).
at UFC 91, then defended the strap with consecutive victories (and consecutive finishes) over Frank Mir (UFC 100) and Shane Carwin (UFC 116). Lesnar (5-3, 1 NC) would eventually surrender the strap to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 in late 2010. His final two appearances inside the Octagon resulted in a loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 and a “No Contest” against Mark Hunt at UFC 200.
Fast-forward to 2025 and Lesnar is now “too old” to make a UFC comeback.
